Here is one more new thing that I found tonight. There is a new dynamic performance view named V$LOCK_TYPE from Oracle 10g Release 1. Here are some of the views differenciated by Oracle version release. I think this is a good information for all the DBA's and hope you will enjoy!!!
- Oracle 10g Rel 1 came with 138 Lock type
- Oracle 10g Rel 2 came with another 17 lock type
- Oracle 11g Rel 1 came with another 32 lock type but non of them is removed.
